UI/UX Audit Checklist For Growth-Stage Products
Growth-stage teams often lose conversion to small interaction frictions. A recurring UX audit helps recover velocity without full redesigns.
1. Onboarding clarity
Evaluate whether first-time users understand value within the first session. Remove unnecessary fields, clarify next steps, and align copy with user intent at every transition point.
2. Navigation confidence
Review information architecture for predictable wayfinding. Primary tasks should be available in one to two clicks. Ambiguous labels create measurable friction in activation and retention.
3. Conversion path integrity
Map every conversion path from first interaction to completion. Check for broken continuity, cognitive overload, and unclear failure states. Prioritize fixes by conversion impact, not aesthetics alone.
4. Performance as UX
Interaction lag erodes trust. Audit loading states, layout shifts, and responsiveness across key devices. Faster interactions consistently improve perceived product quality and completion rates.
